Hiya everyone,

How you all doing?

I'm really excited!! My new single 'The Boy Who Murdered Love' is out TODAY!! I'm so proud of this track. It's my favourite track to sing live as it's quite dark and I get to be so dramatic! It's about a love that was once so beautiful that's now ruined. I have a really good working relationship with Chris Braide, the guys who I co-wrote it with. So it's a very special track. I hope you love it!

Last Thursday I performed the first of my shows on the JLS tour. Love those guys! Everyone always asks me who my favourite is but I love them all the same. They're all so different; it would be impossible to choose. The shows have been going really well and my new single has been going down a storm with the crowd. I love watching JLS from backstage, they keep throwing me a cheeky smile. Aww. Lovely!

Last week today I performed in my hometown, Blackburn, for a private party. Mum was in the audience, which was lovely. It's always great going back home and seeing all my mates.

What else has been going on? Soooo much!! I performed at T in the Park festival recently. I was soooo nervous! But when I came out on to the stage the tent was PACKED and everyone started screaming and singing along to my songs. I got so emotional; I had tears in my eyes.

I've also been doing loads of promo for the new single (OUT TODAY! ha ha ha). I had a really early start on the Chris Moyles Radio 1 show last week and then later that day did the National Lottery Show! That was so weird as it's such a teeny studio! Loved doing it though! Then got home at midnight, it was the longest day. Watch out for me on the TV loads over the next couple of weeks, I've done so many interviews and performances, it's been awesome!

It's my birthday on the 30th July. I'm trying to decide what I want to do. Maybe I'll sky dive or do something equally as mad. Then in August I'm taking a quick holiday in Miami and Ibiza. Then I'm heading to LA to shoot the video for my third single. I can't give too much away but promise to dish some more info soon!

Anyway, I'm off now guys to catch a few winks - I'm knackered and so much coming up!

Hi guys!

First up, I just wanna say THANK YOU again for everyone who came to the tour and I really hope you all like the new single and of course the video!

Right now, I’m in Ben’s Cookies eating LOADS of…cookies! I’ve just had a few Australian phoners and met with Molly Meldrum for an interview, which was really great. After I’m done here, I’m going to do some more song writing with Chris Braide. Last week I wrote with Nerina Pallot and we put a cool song together J

I’ve loved your reactions to The Boy Who Murdered Love video so far! I really wanted to get across the theme of the song in the video, but in a gentle way - that’s why we introduced the animation. I didn’t want the theme of the song to be too ‘in-your-face’, so the animation was used to soften it out. The director (James Copeman) sent me a read-through and I looked at all his past animations and just loved his work. It was all so creative, soft and lovely.

I had so much fun making this video and it was actually quite easy to make – I only had two costume changes! The bedroom scene was the longest, taking around an hour and a half. It was a beautiful day and we had a beautiful boy in the video too! The only difficult bit to film was when the arrows fly towards me in the video. It took a while to get the timing right, but the director worked around me and the way I moved.

When Perez Hilton put up the video on the site I couldn’t believe it. It’s SO good because he has such a huge following and he’s lovely. He’s been contacting me directly on Twitter – he’s just so lovely and I feel very lucky to have a well-known voice behind me.

I can’t believe I’ve been nominated for a clothes show award either! It’s incredible that I’m up against people like Daisy Lowe – it’s crazy. I’m looking forward to tomorrow night as well, as I’m going to the Glamour Awards and I can’t wait for that!

For the rest of the week I’m writing some more, I have phoner interviews for Asia and Australia and I’ve got a friend visiting me from home J

I’m really looking forward to V-Festival too – I’ve never been before, but I’ve heard it’s such a great festival, so I can't wait!!

Diana's blog update - Tour news!

A couple of days ago we caught up with Diana for a little update...

'Hey guys! The tour's been going really good and I'm at home right now chilling with my mum, so I thought I'd give you all an update! It's been amazing so far and obviously, this time around everyone knows the words and can really get into all of the songs, which I just buzz off more. On the last tour, everyone was listening and taking it all in because they hadn't heard the music before, but now it all feels so much more relaxed and everyone's more up for it.

The tour has been so much more intense this time around - starting from tomorrow, I have something like 8 dates in a row, so it's gonna be pretty hardcore, but I'm LOVING it and my band have been so amazing to perform with.

Liverpool has to be the best place I've performed at so far. It was an absolutely incredible night and it was on a Saturday as well, so everyone was really up for it and I think they loved it. Tomorrow I'm playing in Manchester (my home town), which I can't wait for! Lots of my family and friends are coming and we're gonna go on a big night out after!

The song I've loved performing the most on tour has probably been 'You'll Never Get To Heaven', because I didn't get to sing it on the last one and it's one of the songs I wrote on the album. I love performing songs that I've written myself - the fans have been going mental for it too! :) It's been amazing to hear the fans sing my lyrics back to me on stage. When I was younger, I always said that was the feeling I couldn't wait for!

Inbetween the shows I've been doing different things to help me chill out. In Liverpool, I had a massive night out with the band and the other night we all went swimming in our hotel, had an early night in our dressing gowns, telling each other stories and watching movies. Other than that, I've just been sleeping all day on the tour bus and eating LOADS of chocolate!

I'm SO excited for the next single release! We chose 'The Boy Who Murdered Love' because it runs along the same theme as 'Once' and I think it's such a fun, catchy song that I can really relate to, as I wrote it myself. I also thought we could do a great video with it - as a package it's just a really good song and I hope you guys love it as much as I do!'

Hey guys! I’m absolutely buzzin’ about getting my first every number one single – It hasn’t sunk in yet. I think that one day I’ll be plodding along and it will actually hit me and I’ll be like ‘I HAVE A NUMBER ONE SINGLE! Aah!’

It felt incredible when I first found out, no words could actually describe it – I was so emotional. I’ve been working so hard, so when I got that No.1, it was great knowing that all my hard work had paid off.

I’d always said that to get into the top 20 would be amazing, so to actually get to No.1 was unbelievable and something I’ve always wanted since I was 8 years old!

Because I didn’t know what was going to happen last Sunday and I had to get up for a photo shoot the next day, I didn’t have any celebrations planned, but me, my mum, sister and a couple of friends went out for a bite to eat and a glass of wine later that night. I went home after my photo shoot on Monday and met up with my friends for a few celebratory drinks. I’m planning on celebrating a little more this weekend and will be having a party on both Friday and Saturday nights.

I literally cannot thank the fans enough for their support. Thank you times a million for buying the single and getting me my first No.1. I know lots of you downloaded it again and again and I’m just SO grateful to all of you. I can’t wait to see you all on my tour next week – grab your tickets and come on down! I’m now counting down the days for the tour; I cannot wait for it to begin. I’ll be introducing more songs from the album and will be mixing it up a bit each night!

This week has been pretty busy with photo shoots, phoner interviews and I had a meeting about the next single and video, which is very exciting. I’ve also got the HMV Album Listening Party, which I’m really looking forward to! On Friday, I fly out to Ireland for TV and radio promo and then I get some time to chill out home.

Diana's March Tour Blog

I’m just on my way to the FINAL date of my first tour at the Borderline, with my mum, sister and my best friend Chloe – it’s so nice having them with me when I’m travelling about!

I’m so nervous now, it’s the last run and I’ve got a bit of a sore throat, but I’m SO excited to get up on stage and perform at the Borderline. I can’t believe it’s all over so quickly, but it’s been such an amazing experience.

My fans have – as always – been the BEST! I couldn’t have asked for a better reception at each of the gigs. There was an insane turn out at Glasgow and there has always been such a great club-like atmosphere, with people dancing and singing along! My favourite song to perform was probably ‘My Hip’ as I got to play on my trumpet a little, haha! I also love performing ‘Once’ because everyone knows it and sings along with me. When I played at the Water Rats in London I felt so sick with nerves beforehand, but when I stepped out onto the stage and saw all my fans and a few familiar faces like Mark Warren and Ruth in the audience I couldn’t wait to get going!

I hope you guys have checked out my new merch on my site too – I got really involved with the designing of it all and am so proud of the way it turned out. I like to wear it when I’m performing on stage and all the pieces are signed by ME!

For the rest of the week I’m putting some finishing touches to the production of ‘Once’ and then I’m off on holiday to Morocco for 5 days, which I can’t wait for! After that I’m heading back home for a few days to spend some time with my family and friends, before heading back to London for loads of TV and radio bits and bobs in preparation for my single release on 19th April!

I heard that Fearne Cotton announced that I would be on the Radio 1 Live Lounge soon. I’m well excited and I literally cried out when I first found out, I just couldn’t believe it – it’s going to be an awesome experience.

I just wanna say one last thing before I go…THANK YOU to you guys out there for all your unbelievable support during my tour and look out for the much bigger and better tour in May – I want to see you all there!!

New Year Blog

Hey guys!

Hope you all had an amazing christmas and a great New Year!

I've had such a lovely time this Christmas, I managed to go home for a whole two days and spend time with my family - very short, but very worth it. I had all my friends down for New Year's eve and started it off with a bang!

Little Voice is still going amazingly, on my last month now! It's a scary but exciting feeling, I've got to enjoy every moment of it now! I've had a tricky couple of days lately as I've had a terrible chest infection, but I powered through - I'm a trooper!

Anyhow, must dash, the snow is falling down and I need to make sure I get to that theatre and don't get snowed in!

Diana's album update blog!

Here's the latest from Diana...

'So, last Sunday l had my first photoshoot for the album - it was amazing! Lee Broomfield, the photographer is totally fantastic so l was really chuffed to be working with him (even after 12 hours of standing in heels!) Haha, it was so much fun though! All the clothes were amazing - l was like a kid in a dolls shop. It really kicked in, like OMG - this is my album! Now l just cant wait to see everything from the shoot.

The next day l had a nice chilled day off, caught up on sleep and got round to doing bits and bobs! Oooh.. and this week l managed to get all of my Xmas decorations, and a christmas tree too - woo!

l cant wait for the 2 days l get off on Christmas Eve and on the day. l’m going home to see the fam and eat a nice big roast! Oh, and speaking of eating...l bought myself an advent calendar this week, but ate the whole thing so had to buy another one!!! l think that because its winter, l just cant stop! Everytime l look at someone eating chocolate, l find myself smiling at them, thinking 'ahh they must really be enjoying that - its terrible!!! Haha

Anyway, back to what l’ve been doing. l've had meetings with my PR company to get a plan together and then have been in the recording studio twice this week, working on a couple of new songs. Today l was with Starsmith doing some last touches!

Tomorrow night l’m looking forward to letting my hair down and having a house parrrrtttyyy! I have loads of people coming and then on the Sunday l’m going to eat all the leftovers and of course watch the X Factor finals!

Now l’m off to roast some chestnuts (which l had for the first time last week) so on that note, see you very soon! Have a great weeknd guys xxx

Catch-up Blog

"l have been in the studio recording some little tweaks to some of my songs and I even had to go and get a trumpet for one of the parts in the new song I am recording. It’s SO exciting!

Saturday was my sister’s birthday, so a crowd of us went out for dinner and drinks, it was really fun!

Sunday l had a friend down in London, so we spent the day chilling out, watching back-to-back Desperate Housewives! First time in ages had the time to zone out!

Then it was time to get ready for Monday and the turning on of the Molten Street lights. l was really spoilt and treated to lots of fun pressies at the Claridges hotel. When l got there l had a massage as well - Heaven!

For the actual switch on, l wore a Sonya Rykiel dress. There was a great crowd and the Produces from Little Voice came down too. The lights were beautiful, and everyone was drinking champagne, but l couldn’t because had to go back for the show, so that was a bit annoying - but the whole experience was really fun so it didn’t really matter! J

Soooo then l had a Chris Moyles interview and we played ‘guess who’. The panel had to figure out who was on the phone through a series of clues! It was very funny!

Anyways, mum came up on Thursday which l was excited about as I’ve hardly seen her in recent months. She loves the show though – she’s seen it 3 times so far – she’s so proud!

Not had a chance to do any Xmas shopping yet as its totally mental at the moment. This is only the beginning of everything that is going on, but its sooooo exciting. I can’t wait for the rest of it!"

Little Voice update from Diana

Hello boys and girls ! Hope you're all well ! Wow… I have been extremely busy lately! I’m writing this on my way to the rehearsals for the show...

Well, last week was my big opening night for Little Voice. My first ever west end debut! And it was just AMAZING! I was sick to the stomach all night but I powered through it and I enjoyed every minute of it! I was so nervous because in dress rehearsal I was just hideous! Ha. But I think the nerves bucked us all into shape!

Next week is the official opening night as it’s the press night… Terrified but also mega excited for that!

I hope you guys are all getting your tickets to come?! Honestly, it’s something you can’t miss… Mr. Warren and Miss Sharp are just spectacular in it! Anyhow… I will love you and leave you and write again soon!
